Helping Our Neighbors This Holiday Season

As October arrives, the holiday season may still feel a little ways off—but for our neighbors at the Fort Mill Care Center, preparations are already underway.

Fall is one of the busiest times of year for the Care Center as more families in our community turn to local resources for food and household essentials. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the need becomes even greater.

Beginning October 30, the Fort Mill Care Center will begin distributing Thanksgiving meals in addition to its regular food orders. Keeping the pantry stocked now helps ensure that families throughout Fort Mill and Tega Cay have access to the essentials they need as we head into the holidays.

A Little Extra Can Make a Big Difference

The next time you're making a grocery run, consider picking up a few extra items from the Care Center's most-needed list. A few additional items in your cart may seem small, but when neighbors come together, those contributions can make a meaningful difference.

And giving doesn't have to mean making an extra trip to the store. Walmart and Aldi gift cards and PayPal donations allow Care Center volunteers to purchase the items that are needed most, helping make every dollar go further.

• Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Wednesdays: 5:00–7:00 PM

Additional donations can also be dropped off through participating business drop-off partners.
